The Universim Beta Registration

When I first saw some screenshots of The Universim, I thought I was looking at Planetary Annihilation. It turns out that what I was actually looking at is a currently under-development planet management game from Crytivo Games, and it sounds quite intriguing if the information on the game’s website is any indication. The game appears to be akin to Populous: The Beginning in terms of gameplay, which at its core is a god-game which sees you trying to influence the progression of a civilization on a given plant.
Future plans include a multiplayer mode during which you can work together to help everyone build up their planets or try to wipe each other out (so I guess the game does have shades of Planetary: Annihilation).
