I can say this for certain - the next place they even so mention having a sale on their Twitter if it includes the 1.3 description (or anything not representative of the current state of product) it WILL be reported to that seller as being fraudulently sold.

Oh, now their PR department's back, but Simon is indefinitely on leave from the forums due to "the level of his current work load and upcoming family holiday." Right after his bizarre Eurogamer interview, funnily enough. Anyway, I got an answer from our resident "video game journalist", heh:

Really, colin22cans, we don't blame you. Locking a topic and running away from it after pumping out this drivel is par for course with what we've come to expect from the new 22Cans administration. You might want to reconsider my idea about raising funds to take public relations courses at your local community college, even that particular form of higher education will do you good at this point.
