The Bards Tale IV is in it last day. I ends tonight at 8. The bards tale is a game I played as a kid and loved it. One of my favorite features of the original was the ability to level up you caster types in each of the 4 caster class. Once you had done this you could then turn them into an archmage. They are looking at doing this now for the non-caster classes in this game. If you back this you will be getting the first 3 Bards Tales that they have gotten the original program of Bards Tale III to agree to update the engine of the game to run naively on current computers and they also said they might update the art some, but that was not guaranteed. The developers have created Wasteland 2, which turned out really good and are finishing up on Tides of Torment. So the company has a solid back ground doing kickstarters and turning out really good games.

At the request of our over-god here is some more info about the game. First we have the in-engine video which looks very promising. Here is a list of the stretch goals. For those of us that play role-playing games, you might reconise a lot of these names. I know I do. And last but not least a new way of promoting the social media side of the kickstarter: The requirements and Goals and rewards I first saw this on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night The way it works is as you reach social media milestones you unlock new rewards, mostly small easy to do things to add to the game or physical rewards. FOr Bloodstained it was wallpapers and revealing stretch goals and such. Withteh Bards tail that have an ongoing story you can at Enclave of the Fairy Host on Tumblr.
