THE UNIVERSIM PRE-ALPHA START SEPTEMBER 15
GREETINGS
We are super excited to announce that the pre-alpha build will be releasing on September 15 for ALL of our Alpha-tier (Kickstarter $30+/ Website $40+) backers! Yes, that’s right, we have decided to ditch the idea of releasing the game in waves. Following many requests from newcomers and previous backers alike, we agree that it just wasn’t a very fair system. One massive launch also allows us to better test the game throughout the various releases. It was conceived as a way to thank our oldest backers, but we don’t want to punish anyone who just stumbled across us.
We have taken all of the feedback we received from E3 into account for the fixes going into the build, but there’s still a lot of work to do. Soon, you too will be able to provide us with some important feedback. The build will certainly have its fair share of issues, so expect to see some pretty unexpected things. However, it will still be a huge moment for The Universim, as it marks the beginning of a wonderful road to full release. Things won’t always be pretty, but we are really looking forward to working alongside all of you. Get excited!
