..is main reason my husband and I deleted our forum accounts and moved on for the most part. Similar to what is going on here, Neither of us had anything really good to say about it, and the new direction from the new CEO doesn't look promising... even less so for Kickstarter backers.. We like most of you guys but it was way too easy to bag on the ridiculous buffoonery going on with 22cans and even though I creep on the forum still, it's been pleasant to focus our attention on honest, exciting projects that aren't being so deceitfully and poorly run that everything they touch turns toxic. hooray for run-ons. May Bucket Stankus have mercy on all of your souls. |

First off, I do apologise if you feel offended by anything of what I have said there or any other thread; such was not my intent. Most of my own frustration is from having read quite a bit upon the Steam forums and elsewhere for some time, that for 22cans to even remotely suggest that they have generally more positive feedback than not should have been a laugh in itself - I'll admit - it was a bit to exemplify that number counting isn't the best way to claim "feedback was positive" based upon likes and votes and attaboy posts (which are a separate thing, and by all means I don't mind at all!) Along with a bit of watching the whole thing spoil the party for other developers legitimately trying to do the same with what 22cans abused - that is what really gets my hackles up, and I'm sorry if my grumpiness has been souring things a bit. I'll try to reign it in, but I will still try to press the important issues where appropriate. The pure WTF of it all...and how this is seemingly going along just like before despite being a "reboot"...I'm feeling like the 10th Doctor here at times - "WHAT?!" I hope you and your husband have been well and having fun - you had a lovely setup from what I could see.  |

Oh.. no apology necessary. I honestly don't think it's any fault of the common commentators that things are so toxic. 22Cans can only spout so much bull@$#% and half-truths before people catch on. They really have no one to blame but themselves. It's just sad that Ba'al has to deal with the collateral damage from their indiscretions.
