~in case Lord Ba'al wants to move over the more critical posts from the announcement thread that don't seem to add much to it~ ...To make sure this OP isn't totally irrelevant, I guess less people-photos and more game-anything shots would be way more substantive than what we got. It's that odd thing that 22cans seems to be infatuated with, of showing their developers rather than their game, that leaves that uncomfortable pit in your stomach of, "Oh jeez, they've made no progress so we've got to look at these strangers for a bit as they talk/write about what they've been up to...Fuck, why'd I give them my money again?"

I disagree with you there Leon. (if I may call you Leon) Showing some faces allows us to get to know the new people a little. It also shows us that Konrad is still there. And it illustrates that the people working on godus are in fact real people. This last one is of course for the benefit of 22cans.
Sure, more game stuff pics would be nice but that doesn't have to be at the expense of people pics.

Boggles the hell out of me about how we're supposed to put so much into caring about the developers and their work when they've been hidden otherwise by 22cans, brought out for these little update shows.
It should have been obvious that most of the problems people have with 22cans haven't been because of the current dev team - except in how small it is so that they can only work on one thing in what appears to be a grand act of stalling in production. I'm sure the Godus dev team would probably like to discuss something other than Combat, if they're allowed to, much like they were able to in what seems like a longer and longer time ago.
So that suggests they are kept hidden away otherwise because of potential further "leaked" information for what should have been transparent development from the start for Kickstarter development and Early Access program participation.
The only apparent conclusion given the information void from 22cans: Leaks of what 22cans are REALLY doing/planning.

Let me also point out something of recent note that I've been waiting to fold into this discussion about what feedback matters, just a little reminder:
It took a bit of an effort on the part of the community to get 22cans to stop censoring the feedback they didn't want see if it weren't full of praise (which is what appeared to be desired versus any feedback that poked holes in the paper walls, which given the game's design would have been a natural topic drift destination).
Then lying about it in the reasons they gave for deletion.
Then using the customer's reaction ire at the lies as a weak excuse to ban them and silence them.
Or did we forget about all that already?
