Lately I feel that most of the posts here are me, petermolyneux, morsealworth, mandrake and sometimes a few others (sorry if I forgot to name you) are growing more and more inpatient and voicing our usually negative opinions while some more senior members including Ba'al and Gmr try to improve the atmosphere of the forums by ether disagreeing with us or asking us to refrain from brining up the past so much (I don't completely disagree with them). Since a lot of members read posts and refrain from posting ether because they're tired of repeating the same things over again or simply respect Ba'al's wishes or they simply wish to wait things out. Maybe they like how things are going recently but are discouraged from posting because of all the negativity (from mostly us mentioned above). Well I just can't figure it out, since until recently we usually saw multiple people posting about the same things and no one said anything about it. But now it's more like the same people bringing up the past/present baggage and this seems to bother some of the other members here (again for at least somewhat valid reasons). So maybe we could have a poll to clear things up (for me). Maybe we could do this every time a new update comes up and even move to strawpoll.me/ so non-members could also vote. This might (I can't promise anything) reduce the amount of "non-constructive" posts on the forums and also serve as a real metric for 22Cans to use. PS Feel free to suggest a better question and answers for potential future polls. Also if you think the current one sucks just treat it as a strongly (dislike) - strongly (like) list of five and post about it.

By "solidifying", do you mean the acceleration of Molyneux's "Godus is finished and the future is mobile content packs" plan?

By "solidifying", do you mean the acceleration of Molyneux's "Godus is finished and the future is mobile content packs" plan? Ummm... When I made this I thought more of: "It's really bad, but they're so far in it that unless something changes NOW, they'll never make anything close to a real PC game". Yours is more of a number zero option but I didn't want to include that since I wanted to keep it a bit more "objective" and less condemning (in theory things can still change), so they wont just throw the "we don't listen to 'it's shit' feedback".

Oh, that's what I meant, to keep going along the same track. Sure, I get you.

Where's the "nothing has changed; I still have no idea where development is going and it doesn't sound like 22cans knows either" option?

I find the present development approach immensely preferable to the approach they used pre Christmas. There are a lot of improvements that have happened in the last six months whether they be community interaction or design. However, the sad fact is I don't believe any of the changes made to date are sufficient to redeem GODUS. Therefore the probability of a negative outcome is pretty much still as high as ever.
Until 22Cans put forward a credible plan with realistic resourcing I have no confidence in the overall outcome.
I think the reason the community has a little bit of internal tension at the moment is we are trying to reconcile the contradiction between 22Cans behaving better and yet there being no real improvement in the likely result. This leaves some people shouting "nothing has changed" and other people saying "lets see where this goes." Neither is wrong so we need to find ways of expressing ourselves that recognise the complicated reality. Life was easier when 22Cans just acted like pricks 90% of the time and we could just out and out hate them for it.

As I pointed out, there is a lot of talk of "reboot" and "cleaning up" so I'd like to know where. Right now development looks like a show without 22cans really working with the community to resolve long-standing problems, performed until such time that everyone might be fed up with all talk and no real show.
I think everyone would be right chuffed if that weren't so.

I don't think Molyneux ever went on the Steam forums and starting taunting random posters.

Think there should have been another option to vote for
0: I've given up on reading the PR exercises, I'll check back in when the community gets excited about something.

I'm on the "wait things out" side of things at the moment. I'm strangely encouraged that the combat update is taking it's time from the perspective that it hasn't just been rushed out in a half arsed manner. This may be me being a bit naive, and i'm aware that things may have progressed quicker with more staff working on Godus, but at least the updates are offering something tangible as well as highlighting some of the problems the developers have faced (which I think we all wanted to see/hear), even if they still are lacking in community interaction with regard to development direction and resolution to said problems.

Poop dries out and solidifies if you don't keep it moving and add some moisture every once in a while... Even diarrhea...
One strange phenomena is that this pile of poop becomes smellier and smellier, every time some representative opens his mouth and tries to address "anything"... Normal poop stops smelling after a while.

Sometimes you can even stand on a pile without getting any on your shoes. But watch out after a spell of rain....

I've long since given up on Godus as a game I will ever want to play again.
I check in here now and then because I want to see the outcome and the news posts of 22cans in constant damage control are a bit LOL. I'm also very interested in seeing the documentary - if its ever actually released.

At this point... I just do not care. There are a billion other games, so Godus is off my plate at this point.
I don't even wish to extend much hope, I see no point in it.
