This board is also available to players that like Godus. Please note if anyone wants to post about positive aspects of the game, they are free and welcome to do so. In this forum, all are welcome. I will say what I like about Godus is that I used to have a little Ba'al running around doing my bidding.

Yup, I really like godus. I mean, I think the game has a huge potential, but even in this stage I find it very enjoyable. I love the graphics and the lay back atmosphere. As a game designer myself I found the dev. diaries also very interesting. I could mention critique about the development process etc, but I think we all know this already. It is a good reminder of you to write that people who like the game are also welcome to post in it, because there is a few dominant people that create a very unwelcoming atmosphere, both here and at the steam forums. I think everybody by now knows about the problems of Godus and it is very tiring that a few people seem to spend all their spare time complaining about this game again and again, and personally attacking Peter Molyneux. I really don't understand why they still hang around here if they hate it so much. The strange and sad thing is that it seems like they feel like they are fighting for some good cause with their comments. I keep thinking if only they would spend this much energy not bitching against 22cans but on fighting Monsanto or poverty or whatever a lot of constructive things could be done Anyway, I hope the Godus team doesn't forget that there are also a many people who know that the team is working hard on the game. The hateful climate on the forums makes it really not attractive to involve with the community. I'm not happy with what happened in the past, but come on, let's live on. I hope something nice comes out of it! I'll wait for it.

I stick around because I love the idea of what the game can become, it had real potential (and maybe still does) to be a great game, multi-player interested me, gods fighting gods, progressing through civilisations, all that stuff I was really interested in, and I still kinda hope that some of that might still come down the pipe line, though trying to get info from the cans on whats going to be in the game, or achievable is like trying to draw blood from a stone.
I'm also interested in the byran henderson situation, though it has no direct impact on me or my life, i still want to see what happens, if there will be a happy outcome, or if it eventually turns into a total fail, either outcome is interesting, though I hope for success over failure of course.

If Godus had found a way to really leverage the fun and beautiful sculpting mechanic, and create a more organic gameplay, then I would have enjoyed it more. I was really hopeful for some very creative god powers, uncovering new areas, unlocking advances, and watching the civilization grow. It's very disappointing that it got lost and muddled along the way.
I use to actually enjoy playing before v2.0. I miss those days.

One of the things I actually really enjoyed and what could have been so much more. In combination with the feeling of black and white and the guidance of populous Godus would be a game I would love to play, no doubt! If THEY just would listen... :/
