I was reading Why Star Citizen Is Taking So Long and some of the comments in the article struck me as what could have happened to Godus if they had had the money to hold the course. Roberts sounds very Peter like in his planing grand ideas out 5 to 10 years in the future and his iterative design. It seems that have also tried a lot of features and ended up throwing the work away when it did not play as well as he(they) though. It goes to show that not just Peter has grand ideas that are bigger then they can full fill. I guess others are just able to control them more so their rep is not hurt as much. I wonder how Roberts will come out of this? Will he be another Peter that aims to close to the sun and his wings melt or will he soar off into space?

Its not a fair comparison. Chris was straight up with everyone about how much funding he needed and what he was going to deliver, and once he realised that crowd funding could support all the development he was open about the change of scope. Everones continued support justifes the expanding of his vision. Moly started out lying. And continued to lie right up to the point where he abandoned it. They couldn't be more dissimilar imo

I don't believe Peter plans 5 to 10 minutes into the future. There's no plan.

I can see both your points, but for me they do strike similarities, even if it is only in a general way. It is just that small hope in my that saying. Look this is what might have happened.
