Haven't picked up Pokemon in ages. But just today I saw in a news article that someone living very near where I live had gotten second place is the Pokemon world champtionship.

I did. I followed the Anime till they started covering Johto or something. I'm even aware of the weird Ash theory's. |

I watched it for a while in the beginning but never played the card game. I was a M:tg person my self. I started it when I was in stationed in Germany and my mom sent me some of the cards because she thought I would liek it. I got my friends hooked and we proceeded to find someone locally that sold English cards and proceeded to buy 2 to 3 cases an expansion. They killed me when they got up to like 3 expansions a year and decided to quite.
