I am one of those people that really likes this chat every once and a while. Most of my friends or family in my life has gotten in this conversation at one time or another with me. Funnily enough, you can end up doing this for hours if you don't stop yourself...and sure I know it is just for FUN. I have no expectations of hitting any jackpots.
This being said, what would you do if you won a huge lottery? Let's say over 200 million, after taxes.
I would make a zoo. Not an evil zoo, an animal friendly zoo, as much as any zoo can be since there will always be zoos. I would make my zoo more like animal kingdom. My zoo animals would have no real need for donations so any extra money I profit from zoo would go to my animals. I would also make zoo, more diverse. Adult areas and events with higher security and some hours would run later. Highly trained vets and animal specialists would do all they could for my animals. Huge natural arenas for my animals. A Hotel and a School on site, Top restaurants, cafes, excursions, and training programs would all be a part of my animal sanctuary. I would franchise it and make animal safety and health a top priority worldwide. I would make sure I had people obtaining any animals in danger and breeding back out of extinction. I would have a large enough habitat and amount of animals that animals were rotated. Half of the time they would spend mostly unbothered and only provided food and fresh water in a more natural environment, rotating with other half in the zoo arenas.
I would also take in and adopt out any dogs, cats, horses, rabbits...you name it domestic animals. NO KILL. No animal would ever have any worries if they were brought to my zoo. I would take donations for this part of my zoo upkeep and also allow paid admission to these sections as well. Whatever I could do to save as many animal lives as possible.
I call them "my animals" since to me they be a part of my family and I would want a primary residence on the grounds of each one and rent out when not in use.
Anyhoo, all my kinks are not worked out, but that is what I would do with my 200 million.
