Yeah. Strange that it's cheaper on steam than on radiant's own homepage...

No it's not. At least not here in the UK. 18.99 GBP is about 29.80 USD or about 26.17 EUR. How much does it cost on steam where you are?

Ah, yeah you are right. For any reason the prize on the homepage is in $, but the prize on steam is in €. gyazo.com/94c4844f8ff3b8d9c37debe7c2319102Sorry for the confusion. But anyway it's cheaper in germany, as I see.... Pfff. That's almost impertinent.

Almost impertinent? It's a disgrace. I'm so tired of getting screwed over here in the UK. I'm gonna split this financial discussion into its own thread as it is taking away from the topic. Might as well create a new sub-board for Stonehearth while I'm at it.

That was quick!
I wonder why there is such a difference between the Uk and Germany. A disadvantage of not being in the EU using the euro? I know that (on really small) islands physical things are more expensive since they have to be shipped but in respect to non physical things it doesn't make any sense to me...

UK is in the EU. They just don't use the Euro currency. And as you say, there is absolutely no reason why the price for digital goods should be higher in the UK than in Germany. Unless the governments levies higher taxes on it. But under EU law I should be free to buy my product from another EU country I would think. So in reality Steam is the bad guy here.

Ah ha! Finally confirmation why my Fallout 3 stopped working until I removed a Win10 update. I knew it, but the people in the forums didn't believe me. I'm gonna rub this in their faces... er, I mean, share this valuable information to the community so that people are aware of the issue... *ehem*

Does anyone know if www.myabandonware.com/ is trustworthy? I’m after Simpson hit and run which appears to be abandonware as I can’t find it anywhere else I’m thinking of downloading it.

I can't be certain. I think they're legit, but have never used them. And there's always a chance of foul play of course. A least make sure you have a good anti malware program I'd say.

Seemed ok, took alot of configuring but I got it running in compatibly mode + the no cd crack it came with. I don't keep anything I'm not prepared to lose on my games machine. I had the game originally back in 2003 but may have lost it last time I moved house, very funny blast from the past!

Old games are underrated. There was a lot of originality back in the day. I don't care about fancy graphics that much. It's all about gameplay for me.

I'm a Kynseed backer, so I already have it on Steam. I didn't know Discord was a games platform. Thought it was just a communication platform like Skype. Have never looked into it obviously. What should I know about Discord?

I haven't been to that site in ages, and I'm surprised it's still never grown like GoG did - if you recall, they basically started out as an abandonware site, too.

What should I know about Discord? it's a new thing they just launched (last month, thereabouts) and I haven't really used it much. It's basically just getting a piece of the ever-growing gaming/streaming pie; it now incorporates a program launcher, video & text chat service, streaming, and software distribution. It can be handy for internet and gaming communities, especially streamers, though I only really use it when I want to game with friends (voice channels are handy).
