So I've emailed 22cans yesterday but am still waiting for a reply. I'm still waiting for the following rewards from Kickstarter, which according to the 2012 t&cs are a legal binding contract. Digital goods are no different from physical ones. I suggest everyone else to email 22cans the same question but for their own tier;
special digital edition of GODUS a personalised title screen exclusive Kickstarter level unlock code for an exclusive GODUS god power a statue of your image an in-game credit exclusive Godus wishing well Art book soundtrack (add on for me)
Let's see what they come back with but it'd be good to make an inventory for everyone so we can see what's still outstanding after nearly 3 years.

That's top level founder/kickstart support. Wow. I would be pissed off if I backed it at that level (I only bought the beta on Steam, not a founder/backer....but pissed off nonetheless) And not getting an answer is another middle finger from 22scams.

I see you managed to keep this deadline as well.</sarcasm>
its going to be a full month after you said the artbook was shipping before you ship the artbook, this is a rather permanent issue with you guys.
the forever missed deadline.
You cant even keep the easy wins. How could we ever be convinced to trust what you say when you fail at such basic things.
There is no communication and what you do say tends to be a lie either on purpose or because of shitty planning.

There is no communication and what you do say tends to be a lie either on purpose or because of shitty planning. So you're saying we should just ship it without having updates from the backers? Smart! We can't ship without updated addresses... We've had responses from roughly half of the relevant backers and those are being sent out in wave one.

no, I am clearly saying you are unable to set and keep a deadline.
You stated you were shipping the books out last month.
You said "shipping in this next week" on the the 12th of last month.
The books weren't signed till yesterday.
Dont belittle, and snark at me when you get caught lying, or being unable to plan.
You set your own deadline and severely failed, this is a permanent problem with you.

So you don't get a response from the backer, you don't ship?
How about if your "reach out" got lost. How about this, the reason you are holding on to the other books, is because it saves you postage, and you can say, "Well if they wanted to book, they should have replied". Second reason, you will make that book available for purchase later.

I assume none of the guys here received his art book meanwhile? What about Wanderlust? Did he received anything yet?
That is so funny and so sad that 22cans-staff didn't learn not to mess with the backers and the whole community. With other words, we are legion, you can't get expect us to be silenced.

So 2 weeks on since the art books were supposedly shipped, has anyone seen one yet?
Or is this a typical failure of 22cons to deliver on a promise. (insert gigantic list of damning failures)
I mean we saw a tweet that said they had shipped november 4th and they are still MIA... so strange... or so typical depending.
22cans @22cans Nov 4 Guildford, England First wave of Godus Art Books sent out!
So did this actually happen or is this another lie?

Read the tweet.
While I am pretty sure its an exaggeration of the state of facts (read intentional lie), one can only go with what they said. Trying to determine what they actually mean is an exercise in futility.

Sent out means shipped to most of the world, not sure what 22cons thinks it means.
Like the previous lie of "shipping out in the next week" which took a 3 weeks for the next tweet of "sent out" and required implying I was stupid for not understanding words.

First wave of books was comprised of one book. That book was mailed out to Molyneux's house, so his family can see the journey of how he scammed tens of thousands, so his family could go shopping and on vacations. Then his signed it for them too, it read "The bigger the lie, the more you get ahead. Lie, cheat, steal, and you are set".

OH sure make me go and get it and actually look at it....... OK. Now that i have looked at it, it is a lot less an art book and more of a documentary. It is very bare bones of what I would consider an art book. For me an art book is well pages full of art. Which is here but but it also has a lot of why we did this and and what we thought o that. Maybe I am just being picky, but I wanted more: and less: That is the kind of stuff that should be in the Documentary. I really love the art and was looking forward to more full page spreads of the art from the game. I have not had a chance to read it yet as my brother gave me a copy of MAD with Weird Al as the co-editor that has higher priority to read right now. On a upnote is it really signed by 19 people. Which 19 I am not sure as they sign how I sign. A mass of gibberish. /9-> I do not think Peter signed mine but then neither did Fabs .

The chapter "The Future: Godus ongoing" apparently contains two subsections: "What we have accomplished" and "Fan art". Neither of these would appear to have anything to do with the future of Godus, except perhaps to signify that the future of Godus equates to "what we have accomplished" and this is an admission that no further work is going to be done.

Is it just me or is the controllable torndeo just a slap in the face?
I don't suppose it discusses the future ages with pictures of new and as yet unseen buildings.
The quality of the book looks quite good from the photos. I doubt it was cheap when you factor in printing, design and postage. This is the downside of stretch goals.
