Hey everybody! I finally got around to editing some of the time lapse footage I took while at E3. It also features a bit of the Lionhead Studios team over at the Fable Legends booth as well. For those of you on Chrome, be sure to run that baby at 60fps.

whoo, pump that saturation up! I know, right? YouTube really borks 60fps videos up. The 360 degree shot looks awful compared to the original version, up to and including color depth. It's a shame really. Time lapse footage at 60fps does not play nicely at all on YouTube. I was going to upload to Vimeo, which offers much better compression but it doesn't support 60fps and limits each video to 500MB's, which my video exceeds due to the frame rate. Hope the saturation issues didn't ruin the video too much, though! I've contemplated tweaking the original edit specifically to account for YouTube's compression and color depth issues. I might seriously consider it if it's too distracting. What the hell is that music? Nifty logo by the way. Heh, that music is from ODESZA, an artist that I've been slowly following with some regularity over the last year or so. I get that it's not for everyone, but I've been digging their particular brand of mixing as I feel it departs from the traditional EDM-esque mixing which, to my taste, gets a bit old a bit quick. Plus, that particular track I used had a childlike wonder vibe to it which I was digging. Most people have E3 vids showing off the high energy and the intensity, but I prefer to approach it from the angle of E3 being a circus-like spectacle and a celebration of a turn of the century artform. That's the vibe I was going for, at least. (Glad you like the logo!)
