ORIGINALLY POSTED ON KICKSTARTER
Hello Backers It's been a few months now since we last spoke about the Art Book and over the course of the Summer, our concept artist Sara has been feverishly collecting every bit of art, information and excerpts from staff new and old. 'The Art of Godus' cover It's taken a significant time investment to track down those little bits of concept art, those original images from cameras and speaking to each member involved with the Godus project and allow them to shed some light into their creative and technical work on the project. Now, we understand that a significant time has past since the Kickstarter finished and so we've sent a message to the Backer Tiers that the art book was featured in asking for an updated address. Please check your Kickstarter inbox and associated email inbox for this message! We don't want to send your reward to an old address and for you to miss out! This week we'll be signing the books by hand, packaging them up and sending them on their way to backers around the world! We've take a few pictures of the book which you can find below: The Godus team have been working on including combat into the world of Godus and we've been posting incremental developer updates over on our Steam Announcement page - steamcommunity.com/app/232810/announcements/We'll have a full post on Kickstarter regarding combat in the coming weeks! We've got a extremely busy month ahead and we can't wait to share more with you. 22cans

From which tier do people get the art book again? I don't think I'd get one but it's been so long that I can't remember.

I have ask, I know someone will comment. "This week we'll be signing the books by hand," So is this going to be real hand written or rubber stamp hand written, like the shirts? Will we get to pick who signs?

I realise the Art Book is a kickstarter reward and they need to meet those but is the art sufficiently complete to produce an art book? What about the art from the space age? Does it include concept art for ages not included or even a list of ages that will be included.
Nice sheep, can we please have some of those in the game?
If they'd managed to produce a game inside of three years the art book could have all the art in it and presumably not just the art from the first two ages.

Its nice they've completed the art book but its worrying they think they can complete the art book for a game that doesn't even have a completion date or a road map.
Who knows maybe its full of amazing concept art for features unseen. I doubt it.

I find it a bit odd I didn't get this kickstarter update in my email.

I find it a bit odd I didn't get this kickstarter update in my email. An email notification was sent out to the backer tiers that will be receiving the book.

I have no idea what level I backed at, nor what levels are above or below that level. So uh. No clue.

Thanks Spiderweb! And nah, cbf going to search Kickstarter for it. I've backed a lot over the years, my profile project history has dropped off old campaigns like this one.

As long as you're logged in, if you go to the project page your selected reward will be highlighted. Or you can just select "more" on Collected Pledges in your backed projects. ... turns out the $15 (and above, I assume) tier was supposed to get a PDF of the fabled "Design Document"

Glad to know there was a serious plan to implement the Kickstarter from the beginning. Who knows what this might have turned into if people just slapped things together and shoved it out the door. I'm betting the hardest part was tracking down information from people that have moved on.
