I was thinking of making my own forum for people Social Anxieties and General Anxieties... Y'know, gather people together to talk and ramble.
Then i thought. "That's like inviting an arachnophobe to a guys house that breeds spiders."
So, what do you guys think? Good idea, or weird idea?

No harm in trying, is there? It's the only way you'll find out.

If a person with social anxieties has to take a first step towards dealing with it, a location that is full of people who know what it feels like doesn't seem like a bad place to start. I say go for it

Advertise on google and facebook. Go to anxiety meetings and hand out flyers.

Filling it could be a slow process at first, but once you find one person, that person will also be able to invite others, and so forth. And thus it can start growing much faster.
Recently the Eve Online community started an innitiative called 'broadcast4reps', for people who are suicidal to have someone to talk to. You'll come across people there who suffer social anxiety as well. And there are similar initiatives all over the world.

You could go to a rock concert, climb onto the stage, grab the mic out of Dave Grohl's hands and invite everyone to your forum. It works as therapy too so basically a win-win.
