Over the last two months, Peter has worked more on Godus than The Trail. Oh no! Oh dear. Release the hounds.

I realise. That's why I'm not the Pope I just find it interesting, that the person who has all the info and has been lurking the forums for months now without giving the slightest information about the game itself or about the whereabouts of our CM (the guy who's supposed to be talking to backers), suddenly comes out and says: Peter himself has been intensively working on the game for 2 months now, just as someone points out (again) that Godus is actually dead. I could probably go on about how it's probably just work for the milk cow (mobile)... but meh... My point is, behaviour like that doesn't give much credibility to their PR officer (current or past).

Peter left Godus. He's only keeping the maintenance team on it, because it's still profitable on mobile. The most work he did for that game in the last two years was probably when he had to sing all those art books. I don't see a real difference. Over the last two months, Peter has worked more on Godus than The Trail. If only you were capable of releasing interesting tidbits of information such as the above in a non-abrasive, timely fashion. Sigh. I guess this community has gotten what we've paid for as far as public facing employees, haven't we. I challenge you to release a similar tidbit of information each week without the requisite, "haha! I'll only give this information out when I'm attempting to prove someone wrong on the interwebz! That will be pure PR genius!!!" machinations.

13thgeneral, gets robbed at gun point and punched in the face. The attacker takes his wallet and drags off his girlfriend by the hand. 13thgeneral waves good bye at the robber's back and yells out "Spend the money well, Mary likes pancakes in the morning, and I hope you will learn from your mistake of hurting people".
It's not hard to work for any company, as long as you yourself know who you are, where you stand and understand ethics. What, you think nobody had disagreements with their supervisors? It's how you handle them, and what you do that builds your character. Some break the ethics "this one time only", when they are 22 years old, working their first real job. Fast forward to when they are 35, and they basically turned into slime balls that con people left and right, skimp on quality of their work, etc...etc...
There are no excuses for having poor ethics. None.

For all we know, Peter's barely shown up at the office for the last two months and the only thing he's actually accomplished when he came in is sign books for Godus. It's November. NOVEMBER. Let's just let that sink in for a bit longer. November. In one month, it will have been a full year since PM left Godus for The Trail. One full year has nearly passed and the only feature to show in all that time is the "story". One year ago, I was the poop in the punch bowl and refused to believe Gmr's big community building effort would produce anything. Now, all I have to look forward to is a vague curiosity as to who's next to leave/get replaced. At this point, I'm not particularly sure they're too concerned with replacing anyone there. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if Colin left. Would we even notice at this point? Would they?
