Geez. This is the kind of authoritarian society fiction warns us of.
But, if you think they're not trying to do something similar in the USA, just look at things like the common core education or the ACA; both reward you for playing along within the system and penalize you for taking your own path. And this recent movement of social justice/shaming running rampant here, its a precursor that left unchecked will deeply damage free-thought and freedom of choice.
Its genius and frightening to consider.

Let me remind you that even the stuff that was celebrated so much this year - gay marriage - started from active Orwellian social pressure through all known channels to force psychiatrical society to exclude homosexuality from the list of developmental disorders (which is an epistemological scandal, as it was excluded through non-scientific methods). And before you start bashing me for intolerance (which would be incorrect, as being tolerant doesn't equal refusing to recognise the problem's existence), think of why you get an urge to do so. Also, though theme I touched is controversial (the current state of affairs is, at least), I believe it is on topic. |

I fear that so many don't realize this overabundance of PC crap is orchestrated. Think how you want, feel how you want, and don't try to shove your stuff in my face. I would fail at this game miserably but I know myself and my true friends would tell them all to pack sand.
For the record, I am female. I like having my husband door hold a door open for me. I like him grabbing the heaving bags for me. Can I do it if I am alone, sure. I still like it when he does it. If this makes me a non PC discriminating horror of a woman, so be it. If any feminist does not like it, I don't give a rats hairy ass. Their opinions have no more merit than mine, even if they end up getting points in some game and I lose them.
All games get old, this one will too at some point and then once the people realize they have played, then you will see the anger and rebellion.
