Hey there boys and girls. Welcome to another episode of "Matthew Actually Posts Something". Today, I'd like to talk to you about Public Domain. You see, once upon a time there was a ton of content that people were selling and making money off of. Years later, copyright law dictated that all this content was to become available to the public. Here in the year of the future, 2016, there now exists thousands and thousands of interesting shows, movies, and cartoons that have fallen (or risen, depending on your view) into Public Domain.
As it happens, I'm working on a personal project that would mesh quite well with Public Domain content. However, finding those rare and hidden Public Domain jewels is quite a challenge considering how much Public Domain there simply is. So, if you fancy participating in this thread, I could use help with one or both of the following:
Feel free to post any such findings here. In return, this is what I offer: the appreciation of an individual you don't personally know and have only had casual interactions with due to a shared history within a crazy video game community. As you can see, the rewards for helping me out are most substantial. So allow me to start us off with a few of my personal favorites that I've encountered on my Public Domain travels.

There's a good handful of recent content that, by its nature, is automatically entered into Public Domain upon release.
High On the Range. I see what you did there.
And, of course, cartoons.
Not to mention some really good (and HD) films.
