I was tempted to post some snark... But being hacked sucks, and there's plenty of snark flying around his response to the hack. /sigh

Hacked my arse! Pure drunk posting after the shaming article on Eurogamer. If it were him it would have likely involved his RSC-calibre crying, and as a designer he should know such doesn't convey well over text for the full effect. @undeadoverpromise - don't worry, the snark is definitely covered: BOOM, headshot! Oh, and....

The one time I'm not keeping an eye on things because I'm playing a game... C'mon, the timers in Godus aren't THAT bad*...and I didn't think it required that much involvement outside of the occasional cow-clicking... OH! My mistake...you said you were playing a game, not Exploitative RSI Simulator 2.0. * - Compared to 22cans' support timers.

I wonder if Colin will be busy now cleaning up the "hack" with various media.
-media: "And while we're at it what is happening with Godus?" -colin: "no comment";"check back Soon"?
I think Colin may of also realised you can read the board without being signed in, so we won't see a login again any time soon.

Colin knows and has already lifted a single finger to address the issue:
A couple of us have replied:
Gmr Leon: Why's it take THAT of all things to get you lot to say anything on the matter in ages, eh?
Me: TIL: going silent on your own site/forums and most media channels for many months is barely-contained enthusiasm.

My mistake. Since he's in Britain, Colin probably used two fingers:

I believe in that instance, Churchill was using it as V for victory, rather than the more common (in the UK) pejorative usage.

That was a bit of the joke, in that the second tweet was wholly unnecessary and goes rather contrary to how 22cans have acted previously, as somehow they now act like they're on top of things...but in a different context it instead sends a much different message. I could have used this one as well:

If 22cans have been working so hard for a year since the last media disaster why don't they show us what they have? The simplest answer is that they don't have anything that they are proud of.

it seems 22cans has written the PC community off as a loss. I don't expect their interaction, even after the release of Godus.

it seems 22cans has written the PC community off as a loss. I don't expect their interaction, even after the release of Godus. Really? As odd as it might sound at this point, I figure that in some ways they've been even bigger dicks to their mobile users, on a daily basis:* "hi when are you goooooiiiiiinnnnnngggg to update godus for the iPad it has bin what to long we your followers are getting restless" This sentiment, along with the damn thing not even working for some on iOS, is all over the neglect hole of their Facebook - from mobile users! Mobile users can't just put down the game for an extended time without some of what they did in the game going to hell - and they are expected to do this perpetually in hopes of new content - unless they eliminate the Astari in some way. The "inspirations for a new design" of Dungeon Keeper Mobile and Clash of Clans are nowhere as asinine, as recovering from your bases being razed then is hardly as bad as, say, losing a large pop in Godus. At some point they get to see how the game just...abruptly stops...and they find out that any money they might have paid into the game to progress into this dead end was a complete and utter waste as it was designed to be. I wonder how 22cans plans on weathering the public reaction of Chinese whales when they find that last bit out. godus.boards.net/thread/690/removing-offline-time-progression*- In addition, it now appears as if they trapped the Timeline with an unskippable skipping advert. Lovely. Deth: I would say that it was likely a bit of both in that case. But hey, good to see that 22cans offers *some* indication that they aren't dead in the water, I suppose, even in that manner.
