Oh Ohhhhhh! Guys!! guys.... we've been wrong all along. call off the attack dogs.. there were NO PAYWALLS in Godus Wars, only small fees... that prevented you from progressing, like a wall.. that.. you had to pay to remove.. like.. a.. paywall.. Ugh.. |

He never said "there were no paywalls" ...
he said "There are no paywalls. There was a small fee to access the second island, but that has been removed."

Personally if they added cosmetic micro transactions I would not be bothered. I would not buy any now, I would have at the beginning, But that boat has sailed now. I think they have even fucked up their chance of doing that. After this latest stunt, and after seeing that 22cans went from charging "full price" for a port of "pay-to-not-suck" microtransaction fiesta in Early Access hell to "3/4 price and cont(in)ent paywalls" of a demo level to promise to languish in similar Early Access hell... 22cans go f*** themselves. We're still waiting for everything else regarding their recent silence to drop like further turds down the same 22shitcan. Will 22cans be forthright about that much now that they've been caught at this, or will we have to find it and drag it out to even further disappointment and media fun? Stay tuned for the next episode of betrayal, dodgy business, and taking Early Access to whole new lows! |
