They don't produce public plans - not only does this mean we have no idea what they are planning to do (22cans you wonder why we are hostile and sceptical) but they constantly go on tangents and do reversals that don't appear to be leading towards a conclusion.
They don't proactively communicate, engage in discussions nor justify any of their design decisions - so much for their Kickstarter/early access promises about community engagement. If they actually talked to us about what they are trying to do it might help them avoid negative feedback and improve the community relationship. We can only assume they don't talk to us because they know they are planning to do what we don't want.
They pretend they aren't obligated to deliver us the promised game - more and more they act like Kickstarter doesn't exist and that there isn't a commercial and legal obligation on them to deliver GODUS. Worse they act as if any commitment they have made is entirely optional.
They won't take feedback - I get that one man's symphony is another man's cacophony but in the case of GODUS there is amazing consensus about what is needed to fix the game. Despite this 22cans will not address these aspects in meaningful ways. Sculpting is the ultimate example but by no means the only one. 22cans need to defend their decisions or change them.
The game lacks complexity - GODUS wars/GODUS take your pick, both games lack content, lack challenging and interesting mechanics and have repetitive gameplay in place of interesting gameplay. Needs to be sorted out.
They are just plain slow - Even Peter Molyneux said it should take two to three years to finish a game (despite initially suggesting nine months for GODUS because they were so advanced) but three years has gone by and they haven't even finished the design (god I hope they are still designing). It seems to take them overly long to implement an idea and since they are constantly doing reversals (see above) this only adds to the delays.
Anyway 22cans/Colin/Simon and anyone else who pretends we are unreasonable. These are my beefs how about you try and fix them. If you genuinely think we are wrong out our feedback then be brave and come over here to justify your position. And by that I don't mean "we think it's really fun".
