Ok at the moment it is only speculation, that konrad (furious moo) has left the employment of 22 cans. and there is little evidence either way to confirm or deny his current employment status. I wonder if one of the official godus board moderators, who apparently have contact with 22 cans, would be able to probe this issue, and get back to us with some concrete information. Aynen & muir would you mind passing on our expression of interest in this matter to your contacts. It doesn't do anyone any good to leave the community to second guess, and theory craft their own senarios with unfounded speculation, so an official statement would be appreciated (even if its just of the nature "no comment"). cheers

It's possible his exclusion on the "About-Us" page is simply an editing oversight, but... yeah, some insider or official confirmation would be appreciated.

As usual they can't even be bothered to break their vow of silence to let their backers know if the lead designer still works at the company...

They are long past the point of remembering that they have backers and this was a kickstarter. With the exception of Molyneux, who is so in denial about everything and will likely just lie and say it was never a Kickstarter, I doubt there is anyone left at 22Cons who was originally part of the team during the Kickstarter

Or maybe he agreed with my statement that it's not ethical to stay at a company like 22cons. Took his own conclusions etc.
Good on him.

Given how easy it would be to say "no, he's still here" or to put him back on the website, I think we can assume he has left.

they're probably busy waiting for sign-off on putting together a plan on how to tell us whether or not he still works there.

I don't think anyone even noticed us talking about it.
Maybe they haven't even noticed he's gone. Just went on a holiday and never came back. No one the wiser. Probably still paying his pay checks too while he's sipping on cocktails on some caribbean beach.

I assume this is there plan. Just ignore everyone till all us old timers give up and go away so they can step out with a new game and start "Fresh".

*** Special news bulletin *** A source from inside the studio has confirmed that Konrad ( FuriousMoo) is no longer employed by 22cans. He was in fact already gone by the time colin22cans was made redundant, although not long before. As far as is clear at this time, he did not choose to leave on his own accord, meaning he was "made redundant" as well. As for where he is now and what he is doing, the situation remains unclear. Not long after the release of Godus Wars, the brunt of the Godus team was moved over to the Trail, at least everyone with knowledge of Unity. The Trail purportedly is a walking simulator with nice looking art but very little substance. *** End of bulletin ***

No shock there.
Im not against walking simulators, assuming the content is engaging - not necessarily in terms of game play, but the experience. FireWatch is a perfect example of this.

I've never played a walking simulator and don't have any desire to.

It says a lot about Peter Molyneux and Simon Phillips that they would sack the lead developer for GODUS and redirect all the resources without a word of communication.

I can't for the life of me remember when it was that Colin left.

Thanks for the update Ba'al. So much for Aynen and Muir's assurances that Godus is definitely not abandoned. Sounds like Simon will feed them any kind of crap and they'll wilingly swallow it.
