Anybody else here play the Sims? Have you tried Sims 4? I love the graphics but Sims 3 had sooooooooooooooo much more to offer in content. I have Sims 3 so I am actually debating on switching back to it. I also have the newest Sim City but it I am not sure if my laptop will run it any better now that I have a bigger hard drive or not.
Anyhoo, I have my main person. I admit, I used the motherlode cheat code to buy a nice big house. I built up all her skills and kept her unemployed until she finally found a partner and then I moved him in. She got a good a job and then he changed his. They both are pretty high up in their careers now and I bought some more cool stuff for their home. I had them marry and saved it as "No Kids". I plan on having them have a baby and and save as "One kid" and so on. I really miss having the pets like in Sims 3 and their choice of places to live at really suck. We have over 5 million in the bank now and can't use it to do much of anything of interest.
I am seriously considering buying the "Dining Out" expansion pack because he is a chef. I am also tempted to do several of the other ones but it really annoys me that there is so little clothes to choose from without spending more money. None the less, I like the game and find it a nice way to escape reality from time to time. I also read that if I can get my Sim City up and running, I can actually move my Sims from Sims 4 into it. This sounds like this would be pretty cool.
I also love the Sims because I don't like fighting in games very much, and in the Sims I can completely avoid it. I will also add that the labels are quite humorous at some points. Like if your Sim is angry and needs to use a bathroom, you have a choice of "Take an angry poop". This made me chuckle.
