I've been working on a god game for the past year and someone suggested I post it here - I hope this is okay! In a universe driven by targets, a faceless corporation employs you to create an evolving ecosystem you can never hope to control... Intelligent Design is a sandbox god game with fully simulated genetics and evolution. You create species of plants, herbivores and carnivores, but once created you can only sit back and watch evolution happen. As your ecosystem develops you will build research stations to study your creatures. Research allows you to unlock genetic engineering abilities, which can lead to some really weird and unexpected consequences. Great power comes with great responsibility however, since when you start tampering with genetics it is hard to undo your mistakes... You can download the game from here. It is pay-what-you-want. I'm also running a steam greenlight campaign and more info can be found on my indieDB page.

Nice. I've only spent a few minutes with it, so I don't have a much feedback yet, but this is definitely my jam. I look forward to playing more & following its development.

Hey seanwalton. I finally got around to giving your game a try. The free version that is. Technically I don't think it falls in the category of godgames, but I find it quite interesting nonetheless. I played it for an hour or two and I'm sure I would have played it for a lot longer had my computer not overheated and shut itself down (right when I was about to plop down a second radar). Don't worry, that is not due to your game. Well it was, but that's just because this laptop is old and has issues. Regarding your game, I quite like the concept. At least as far as I've gotten. I don't know yet how far it will go. It took a little getting used to the interface. I'm sure I will give it another try.

Pretty much my sentiment, plus my work laptop overheated (but not a great graphics card).
