In case you were wondering what he's up to these days. Seems best for him to be back into the gritty work of not just talking pie in the sky but being involved in actualizing them again. Not that that makes good on this game's complete failure to deliver, but at least he makes it sound as though he took some proper lessons from it.

For some reason it's always nice to read an article with him. But as usual there is a great bit of blah about his personality and his mistakes in it. Especially the second half of the interview. Interesting that the Trail is apparently successful. I wonder what Legacy is going to be about. I hope it won't be modeled after his ego.

Godus is only discussed once in this conversation, but it's a good question:
Godus is free-to-play? Peter has apparently forgotten that the PC version of Godus even exists, let alone Godus Wars. Not only that, he regards Godus as finished. So why is it still in Early Access? I always assumed it was to avoid any possible consumer repercussions, but maybe it's because they have literally completely forgotten about it.

It amuses me that Molyneux thinks paying money to Bryan would be a publicity stunt. The way he says it makes it sound like it would be insulting to just give him some money. I'm sure Bryan doesn't feel that way.
At this point it would be reasonable to say - look we promised you a life altering prize combined of money and an in game role. We bungled the in game bit, it's not going to happen. However, we can still make good on the money part, here is 50,000 pounds as a make good on the prize. Have a good life.
Of course Molyneux likes money to much to take that kind of financial hit and worse he doesn't see anything wrong with stiffing Bryan, he thinks it would be more insulting to pay him.
At some point Molyneux is going to die and at his funeral some crazed Godus fan (Tim or Ba'al probably) are going to stand up and shout "he never gave Bryan his prize!" and it will be awesome.

It wasn't meant literally but rather as a figurative testament to your tenacity.

PM says that Bryan did get his prize (just not the financial bit). Whatever PM thinks constitutes the coveted God-of-Gods prize, it in no way resembles what it was originally supposed to be, or could possibly justify the grind users applied to solving the Curiosity cube.
There's a deity in Godus Wars called Bryan. Could this be it? That would be sad.

Saw this story in my news feed today - I have a tailored feed specifically for Godus, Molyneux, & 22cans - and had a pretty good chuckle reading it on my lunch break. All sorts of non-sense still issuing from Peter's mouth.
I think this should be confirmation enough for Steam to pull Godus off the platform. We'll see.
