I lost my beloved Sony Vaio a year or so ago and have been suffering through this piece of pooh I am posting from ( Acer Switch 10.1). It has 2 GB of Ram and can't even run Steam to give you an idea. I have been researching and reading gaming laptop reviews for some time for which laptop I want and I have found my future laptop, well, a choice between two. They are not the prettiest in the world but the foundations are firm and I found a place i can buy a skin for the laptop to cover it's ugliness.
So without further ado..... ASUS ROG Strix GL553VE-DM107T

MSI GS60 6QE Ghost Pro

They both have the i7 processor, but the ASUS has the 7700 generation and the Ghost Pro is the 6700.
The Ghost Pro has 16GB Ram, but the ASUS comes with 8GB of Ram but can be upgraded to 16GB at a later time.
They both have the back lit keyboard and are just kinda ugly in my opinion, but the ASUS is uglier.
The Ghost Pro is 1.9 kg and the ASUS is a bit heavier at 2.5kg.
The graphics card on the ASUS is GTX 1050 Ti with 4 B of memory but the Ghost Pro only has the 970 with 2 GB of dedicated memory.
The Ghost Pro is just kinda more cool, but the price tag is over 1200 while the ASUS is under 1000 pounds.
I am really looking forward to either one so I can start playing the Final Fantasy Online game when I have days off again( along with my Sim City, Minecraft, and Sims). Both of these machines can easily play any game I want and have 256 SS drive plus a TB HDD, and a strong sound systems with multi-colored back lit keyboards, and both have all the ports I need with a SD card slot, HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB-C. They are also both the 15.6 inch screen size I like. They both have a typical shit battery life of 4 hours for a gaming laptop, but this does not bother me that much.
I keep going back and forth on the fence on this, but I have been leaning towards the ASUS. Any thoughts?
