Who is a star control fan?

Two new games coming out - one a direct sequel to SC2 made by the creators.

Exciting. I’m having another go at star control 2 since I never managed to complete it in my youth. I’m cheating my ass (with location information) off to streamline the game. For those who don’t know star control 2 is one of the best games of all time, it’s been remastered in HD, and it’s available for free! Just google the “The Ur-Quan Masters HD”.

It’s proper old school. Unforgiving, time consuming. If you don’t read guides you’ll fail on your first few plays. There is a time limit whereby you lose.

Just a word of warning - origins isn’t the game by the original creators so don’t get them mixed up. I’m not saying it won’t be good - I haven’t looked at it - but I wouldn’t want people to be confused about what they are buying.
