Ummmmm it’s a 14 book fantasy series with lots of magic and battles. That was a really bad description. It’s one of the most popular fantasy book series of all time. It was on a par with Game of a Thrones in terms of sales and popularity before the TV series supercharged the sales of those books. It’s epic fantasy with a large scale story and an expanding cast of characters. It gets some negative comment because of the length and pacing issues in the middle of the series. But overall it is well worth reading. It’s going to be very difficult to adapt to TV and could suffer from the type of treatment legend of the seeker and the Shanara series got. Still I’m looking forward to see them try. |

Yes I love the series and hope they do it justice unlike the sword of truth and Sword of Shannara.
