22Cans are still working on Godus. Apparently it's recently been a bit of a hit on mobile. Supposedly, the game has changed a lot. Where do I get this from? Well, I just stumbled upon this article. www.gamesindustry.biz/peter-molyneux-is-returning-to-his-rootsIt's not their only game in development though. They have four games, including a brand new one called MOAT. No one knows what that's about. In other news, Molyneux will not be making wild promises anymore. Instead, he will release carefully considered blog posts now and then.

With so many good games out, it's hard to imagine taking that man seriously, regardless of how careful he is with his posts. I'm just about overwhelmed with fun stuff to play at the moment.

Which games are you currently enjoying or looking forward to? For me, The Talos Principle 2 is about to release. I pre-ordered it. Can't go wrong. Also think Cities Skylines 2 might be something. I never got into the first one, but willing to give it a go since it'll be on Xbox game pass anyway.

Let's see, playing Ark with a few folks, Deep Rock Galactic pretty frequently, Warhammer 40k: Darktide is finally good, and was surprised with how much fun I've had with Remnant 2. In the last few weeks, I've been doing some Baldur's Gate 3 and forced my way through Starfield (hated the main story so very very much). Since I've been unemployed, I've started streaming (nobody else watching but getting some practice too) a run through of Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate Daemonhunters and uploading the long winded videos to Youtube. Oh, and still playing Final Fantasy 14 at least once a week or so. At the moment, I'm prepping to hammer Return to Moria as soon as it drops. As of this post, it's about 13 hours until it unlocks.

I've been playing Starfield as well, but I haven't gotten very far yet, and the last time I played was already more than a week ago I think, so I guess it hasn't quite managed to capture me.

I just really hate the main plotline for Starfield. It's so much less than I'd hoped for and feels like they went with what's been popular lately. When the secrets were revealed, it felt like a massive let down. The whole thing feels pointless and the primary game goal is a bunch of tasks that run counter to the main game loop. It pushes for NewGame+ but that aspect completely negates the point of ship building, base building, and relationship building.
