So basically theres plenty of activity today on social media from 22cans people, especially with Peter refering to "The first step of our real journey" beginning today, so I was wondering what people are expecting in the near future?

From my point of view, it's likely that this refers to turning the Jupiter server on properly for the first time & getting some real people/real strain running on it (as opposed to just running unit tests with virtual boxes etc). So perhaps Godus mobile will be available in a few countries soonish?

If this is the case, it should mean that things will start to progress faster as they will be confident that the back-end of the game is working properly and so can focus on the next level of design (i.e. adding content).

The community reps haven't said a single thing since all this kicked off. No doubt the meeting 22Cans held on Friday afternoon included instructions on how to handle the community reaction (probably "dont engage"). I know they're around in the background because a couple of threads on the Steam forum got moved to a sub-board, and there's no way the Steam mods would care enough to do that.

Ba'al, a mobile version has been around for ages just not released. 22Cans had a play test for it in January. Peter and his family will have had access to it for months.

I think it confirms our suspicions that this was designed to be a tablet/mobile game. Can anyone recall when we first saw Godus being demonstrated on a mobile device. How this fits in with PC or lack of PC development is anyone's guess. The mobile platform has the great advantage of low expectations, and gradual game release, consider angry birds or Plants vs Zombies they all contain gradual game content release. PM will always be able to claim the PC version is therefore still in development until well... long enough for us to give up trying to hold him accountable.

They're probably busy doing stuff that's been waiting to be done such as deleting this guy's 22Cans forum account.

@astro - Not really matey, Godus is obviously not going in the direction I'd like it to. It's obviously a f2p game and always will be. And for that reason I can't be bothered to keep coming here to see the same BS being spouted by PM.

I've been patient, 16 months since the KS ended. Still not seen any signs that this game will be a true PC game. All I see is a crap f2p mobile game. So much for the uber PC version!

I also don't like my email address etc being left on a forum I no longer wish to visit, not in the age of identity theft etc. It's just one more forum that could be hacked any my details obtained from.

@matthew - No disrespect, but there is nothing you can say that will change my mind. 22 cans has had approx. 16 months to convince me this game is going somewhere.

I just want my account deleted, it's no big deal.

Then he made us all bend over once more and fucked us all in the arse once again. Again he apologized and went quiet for a while. Then he came back and chained us to a swing and fucked us all in the ass one by one while holding his Dena contract in one hand and then he raped us all a second time for good measure while he forced us to watch Jack play Godus on a mobile device. A handful of us actually enjoyed the experience but most of us did not. Then Peter gave a speech at the convention to brag to fellow game developers how he managed to frak us all in our ass repeatedly because we were dumb enough to think that he was actually going to deliver upon even a single one of his promises. THAT is how I feel about Project Godus! Well Peter, I have bent over one time to many. Go try to frak somebody else in the ass for a change. I doubt anyone will be seeing me here again from now on. If anybody wants to find me they can come to my forum, where freedom reigns and Peter Molyneux can't shackle us and frak us. Once again for good measure, the url is godus.boards.net.

Hard to demonstrate this, but the thread that was moved was this one: steamcommunity.com/app/232810/discussions/2/558756256039641080/

It was posted on the main board originally, but got moved to the bugs board. The "moved topic" link on the main board is timestamped betwen 2 and 3 hours ago (as of now) so someone moved it earlier today.
