The change feels to me like they're forcing you to build housing only in settlements, and cover your world in wheat farms. (I've yet to get to mining in any of my playthroughs.) I avoided clicking the timeline for as long as I could so farming settlements wouldn't activate and I could keep building, but need for other cards won out in the end.

I'm not really sure which point you're making. I thought we had to play their way whether we had to use stickers or not. I guess my world religions class was not very effective as I didn't know being a god meant doing everything exactly the way and when you were told.

I guess my world religions class was not very effective as I didn't know being a god meant doing everything exactly the way and when you were told. Well even gods have to follow the rules placed upon them by the supreme god Peter Molyneux.
