Europe had germans twice and got rid of em every time ;-) Third time's the charm?  Oh I really hope it never comes to that. Most germans don't dare to show patriotism here because the connection "fascism <-> patriotism" is always present and some germans (like me) don't feel very german at all (they (and me) see themselfs more as europeans). So ... I can tell for sure "We won't start the fire this time" (it is also highly discussed if we did it the first time ;-) ). So to come back to topic. I am really happy that there are international sports competitions to measure everybody's strength against each other without all the hatred. |

If both Germany and Netherlands become first in their group or both become second in their group there is a chance they could meet in the semi-finals.
If one of them becomes first in their group and the other one becomes second in their group there is a chance the teams will meet in the final.
If not then we won't have a Germany - Netherlands match which would be a shame coz I always love those.

I'm going to predict a 2-1 victory for Brazil. Though it would be cool if Croatia actually won.

Ókay so the game ended in a 3-1 victory for Brazil. It was actually looking to end in 2-1 for a long time just as I predicted but the game went into overtime and some asshole Brazilian managed to frak me over. But then, seeing as my prediction was the closest of all I guess I still won this one.  |

I will vote for my homecountry germany but I think if we even make it to the half finals, we get so overly confident that our team is good that we will lose (like everytime when the german team is too confident) Congratulations to you and the other two who voted for Germany. |
