I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.

It's been 45 days since there has been any sort of update or communication from anyone at 22cans. Isn't that just terrific. A great interpretation of regular updates and involving the community in development.

They got what they needed from us. If they thought they could get more cash out of us, they would be around, they don't and so they won't and have moved on to greener pastures of potential ignorant late backers and buyers that are not aware of how the original backers were treated because it is all hidden in our "exclusive" and hidden forum which shows it in all it's glory.

As I said on the 22cans forum ... they have our money, they have the money from late backers, they have the money from steam early access and now they have the money from steam sale. Now they wait until steam christmas sale is over, to get this money, too. They are working on the game, but a I am sure that it will not be reworked like they told us. Peter is that happy with the game and I am sure he is not the person which thinks that his ideas can be bad. If a game is bad then the gamers cannot play it, it's never the designer who made something wrong. Then, next year they will annouce the great news that Godus F2P Mobile Version will be released soon. Then there will be the next beta version for pc gamers to make the final test. (The last two may be in reverse order).
I'm not sure whether it's malice (right word?) or pure panic because they run out of money. My hopes are that it's panic and they really try to make a good pc game afterwards. But I am sure it has nothing to do with that great openness they promised.

I just looked around the 22cans forum for a bit and oh my god was it boring. There still is absolutely nothing going on there. Does anybody even know when the last build came out?

I did hear peter saying about an update in march in a interview and that godus recived "modest" reviews and that update for us "pc gamers" would also be the day it's released onto mobiles. but like i say it was a interview not a actuall update so it could just be mindless mush coming from his mouth to please well himself?
I'll have a search around to see if i can find it if needed.
