Hi Lord Ba'al, I humbly submit myself for the banhammer. I was able to post a reply to an announcement. I did not see that we were not supposed to be able to reply to announcements. It would help people avoid my fate in the future if we, the site followers, were incapable of violating this commandment. Say, through a setting that makes replies by commoners impossible. Or something of the sort. I am going to change my board icon to properly reflect my deserved fate. |

Lol! Don't worry my dear wonkonpac. Initially I had set the board so that nobody could reply to announcements to give the 22cans folks a quiet place to post them. Later though I came to the conclusion that there wasn't really any reason to not allow people to comment on announcements. So I asked the 22Cans peeps for their opinion on it and they were fine with people commenting on announcements. So then I opened the threads up. I did leave a comment about that somewhere on this board but it is probably hard to find. Anyway, rest assured you have done no harm. And feel free to repost your comment. I have actually just posted a comment on an announcement myself. By the way, where was it that you found the information about not being allowed to post on those announcements? I'd like to go and edit that post. |

I still like the initial idea, but I suppose I'm free of my self imposed time in the stocks.

In light of your PM I have decided to reconsider my decision to open up the 22Cans announcement threads to comments. It will keep the announcement section clean. Instead I have created threads in the discussion section of the forum where the topics can be freely discussed. Sorry everyone for the going back and forth on this. I feel like a politician now.  |
