Not sure if anyone's brought this up yet, but is anyone going to be keeping an eye on Universim? Has anyone here backed it?

I've not, mostly because I've recently stopped working for the big green monster that is ASDA (Wal-Mart to our friends over the pond) in the run up to me going to university and so I need to be careful with my money. My experience with Godus has also burned me massively. Every other kickstarter has turned out really well for me so far, Godus certainly has not though.

The game does look really interesting though if it comes to fruition however, and they've made their kickstarter goal at least.

I don't want Godus to be the reason I won't help funding ~~other people's dreams~~ projects I'm interested in. 22cans (or one of their successor companies) will pretty sure never see money from me again and I am really happy that Universim got funded successfully today and even managed to reach some stretch goals. It really didn't seem it would be successfully funded at first.

Sooo ... lets wait and hope they don't make the same mistakes 22cans did. I pledged 65$ so if the alpha starts and you have questions I'll be happy to help to answer them =) (The alpha will start late 2014 afaik)
