I really want to buy this game. Anyone have it and can tell me if it is worth the large price tag?

I found that the map too small for any length of play and that the people are not smart enough.
It's okay for a while then you realise it has too many issues keep your interest.

I like: Cats; single malt Scotch; Stargate; Amiga; fried potatoes; retro gaming; cheese; snickers; sticky tape.
I don't like: Dimples in the bottom of scotch bottles; Facebook games masquerading as godgames.
Steam: stonelesscutter
GOG: stonelesscutter

If I were you I would wait until I am done creating my own game. But it could be a while. Is ten years okay with you?

As long as it is fun to play..............I know you will give me my copy for free. LOL. I like the Sims games, all of them. I just really had a problem with making roads and that fraked me up all the time in the end.

Do not buy it, until it is like, 7 euros (10 dollars?)
It is not worth the price yet. It is mildly fun, but the hours of entertainment aren't quite there yet. I bought the special edition at full price... Couldn't even play with my friends in the same region at the beginning if they didn't have special edition.
Most bugs are fixed. But there's plenty that lacks. See it as the new EA/Maxsis CashCow. They want your bucks, you don't get much of a bang.
Find a friend who has it, and play on their PC. If you like it enough, then get it. Try it, before you buy it. EA doesn't do refunds.
