Hi everyone, just giving you a heads up that there won't be a new opt-in build this week. This is because we have combined the long and short sprint build cycles into one super-cycle so that we can get the Settlements revamp out the door and into your hands ASAP.
Apologies for this break in the regularly scheduled service to which we committed in May. Feedback from last week's update made it clear that it didn't contain as many changes or fixes as you would have liked to see. The next build we deliver will be a bumper update and will carry multiple systemic improvements and new features.
We're all pushing hard to complete this sprint as efficiently and comprehensively as possible. There's a great atmosphere in the studio at the moment with some real confidence behind the changes to Settlements we're making.
Very much looking forward to sharing more details soon.

Should the promise of weekly opt-ins be revised? It seems to be something 22Cans is struggling to deliver.

Should the promise of weekly opt-ins be revised? It seems to be something 22Cans is struggling to deliver. I'm not dropping that promise until such a time as I'm told by Production that it's not feasible on a permanent basis. I appreciate that the last few weeks have been a bit spotty, however previously it was due to unforeseen circustances (illness, bereavements, holiday) and this week it's because we're simply not in a position to compile and push out a new build until the Settlements revamp is delivered. I ahve asked about this and we will be going back to weekly opt-in builds once we're finished with the Settlements super sprint and return to long and short sprint cycles.
