So as the new Thief is coming out I thought maybe we could talk about the Thief series in general and share some of our memories ?!? I've been playing since it came first out in 1998 ... My God! this makes me feel so old  I have been sneakily dodging all social media and reviews regarding the new game in the instalment . I'm not going to have anyone influence my rather nostalgic feelings to this game  So yes how about you guys? ^_^ |

I have actually never heard of Thief. That probably makes me feel even older than you.  Could you perhaps tell us some about the original game and about your fond memories of it? |

My twin and I played Thief 2 - The Metal Age and there is that level "Warehouse" I think ... Anyway the archery you could do in the Engine was amazing! ( for back then that is) basically we saw a gurd running away so I took aim. Guard distance ca. 150m from the player so a quick adjustment and fire .... 50 min down the way the guard collapsed dead with an arrow in the back .... Ahh the nostalgia |

So Thief got finally released in Europe (woooot!) - And this morning I indulged in 30 mins of bliss playing the game before work started. It rocks! Can't wait for the lunch break!!! |

Yeah but there is loads of stuff I want to do XD Need to do some time management ... at least I'm trying to ... in the end I will probably go: "Sod it." And play 24/7 XD

Just a quick one: Thief is awesome!
Obviously from a game dev perspective and especially as a game designer I could now start to point out things that chisel on my opinion as a gamer but it doesn't change that it is a great game!
I finished the pre-order bank heist mission the other day and it was really cool ^_^
