This quiz is complete and utter bullshit. It's totally geared towards certain types of games that I don't play at all. The result is that I'm a FSAE shooter gamer whatever the fuck that may mean. I don't play shooters. Also, at the end of the quiz there were some annoying questions where they tried to get me to sign up. They wanted to know my date of birth but there wasn't an option to provide it. ( ) I had to go back several times to even get my result. So I say "Fuck you HelloQuizzy"! Kindly DIAF!!! Qetesh: Sorry baby, not mad at you, just at HelloQuizzy. So what type of gamer am I really? I would say I'm a lazy gamer. I played lots of types of games in the early days before consoles really came into play. Platformers, shooters, adventure games, you name it. Over time I found that I drifted towards games like SimCity, Pirates!, Civilization, Settlers, Caesar, A-Train, that sorta thing. I like a good old-fashioned point and click adventure game and I love simulations. Also like a bit of role playing if it is combined with some other type of game well. (for example in Pirates! you play a sea faring swashbuckling pirate, but you're not running around talking to people and trying to acquire objects and stuff (well, you do in the latest version but not like in typical rpg games)) I like games where I can just lay down on my sofa with a mouse in one hand and play like that until the dawn comes or beyond. Also from time to time I like to pit myself against a friend in a racing game or something like that. And I played the hell out of Sensible Soccer. And there were lots of games I've played and liked in the past, too numerous to mention. Generally I like innovative games as well, such as Lemmings for example when it first came out. I think Portal is awesome and I had to step well outside my normal bounds to start playing that.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to poop on Qetesh's idea. Perhaps others will have a completely different experience with this quiz. :$

I got that too; FCPE - Role Playing GamerYeah, I totally agree with you there Lord Ba'al; not to poop on Qetesh's fun, but it's kind of crap - most of these kind of things are. It' wasn't very accurate on most counts. Were you aware that these things are actually ploys to get free statistical information, "page clicks", and user information? Even down to the image verification; they are using you to verify the numbers in the image, not the other way around. (ps. just put BS information into the form fields.) If you click the 'edit profile' it actually takes you to the OKCupid website... O.o

I don't like: Ignoring a unpleasant question or answering with something that is only loosely related or way to vague to actually answer something. Mods that Cherry-pick in discussions. Banning people for minor offenses.

Yeah I'm not keen on the questions, it kept asking stuff that seemed to be geared towards people who play stuff on consoles (like all the questions on combos), when it didn't even ask me if I play on them at all, which I don't. It claimed I am a 'FCPD - Puzzle Gamer', but I don't really believe that. If I had to define my gameplay stuff, I basically go for anything with a high skill-cap, mainly strategy/moba games (so much SC2, DotA2, civ5 & previously a metric fuckton of TF2)

Its a test made for modern console gamers... What is this controller they speak of, why do they think 2 buttons or one button could EVER suffice!?
FCPE - Role Playing Gamer
3 Twitch-Fluid, 5 Simple-Complex, 9 Planning-Acting and 9 Entertainment-Difficulty!
In stark contrast to the Action Gamer (TSAD) is the Role Player. FCPE's lack the reflexes or twitchy demeanor, but they excel in other areas. They handle complex menus, maps, and concepts very well, and they utilize them in extremely effective ways. Strategy is the name of the game for FCPE's. They're not looking for a quick fix of rapid violence, they prefer to exploit a weakness, find a key, or unlock a new path. For Role Players, the game itself is as enjoyable as actually playing it.
Games FCPE's like: Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy, Lost Odyssey, Pokémon

you should try a LARP sometime. if it weren't so much trouble to put one on there would be no computer RPGs

I'm guessing LARP means Live Action Role Playing. Qetesh will probably appreciate that explanation. I don't see myself larping either. ...unless ...perhaps in the bedroom.

I scoffed at it for years and then met a group that convinced me to give it a try. If the players, refs, mods, etc. don't take it too seriously, it can be a ton of fun. We used it like an extended social gathering with stats, roles to play, and tests from time to time. I ended up playing for several years in several different types of game. I sort of miss it, but it could feel goofy at times. It's all about the group.

So what roles did you play?

So what roles did you play? Dark Ages Vampire: Malkavian monk (first LARP character I played). It was my first game and I didn't know the rules well. I spent my time acting meek and avoiding conflict. Come to find out, my character was the most powerful pc in the game, but I didn't learn the rules enough to figure that out until we'd moved on. Vampire (standard): Ventrue. I made a #2 man. He fed only on second-in-commands, acted as a body guard, and tried to be a decent guy. He always ended up in fights he didn't want to take part in. Sabat Vampire: Toreador antitrubu. I wanted to play an evil character and made the ultimate toady. He was the weakest combat character possible, toadied to anyone with power, tried to betray the city, and eventually diablerized the only person that was nice to him (in the very last few minutes of the last session of the game). Refereed a custom Giovanni Vampire game set in the 1920's. Think mafia vampires. There were some others (a few custom setups) but they didn't last very long. The group eventually split as people left town for colleges, moved for better jobs, or ran out of time taking care of families.

Did you even play anything else than a vampire?

Did you even play anything else than a vampire? Yeah, but those were custom games. We did Hunter for a while and a custom post-apocalyptic one, but at the time Vampire was pretty much the only LARP around. It wasn't until after the gang disbanded that L5R's LARP came out. I'd have loved to have run a Winter Court LARP... Edit: Oh yeah, there was a Werewolf game that ran for a while but my work schedule got in the way of me being able to play in it...

Personally I have absolutely nothing with vampires, or werewolves for that matter. I would rather play a roman legionnaire or a pirate or a mad scientist or something else that has a basis in real world rather than fantasy land.
