I wanted to start a thread to see if we could get any info on the mobile/pc cross platform integration. We keep hearing that PC will not be f2p like the mobile version but you will still be able to start on your mobile device put it down get on your PC play in your home world then when you go out to dinner pick up your phone and pick up where you left off in the PC. Correct?
So how are the times going to work? Will times scale between devices? Will PC times tick down twice, three time or more faster then on a mobile device? Will it be PC2win? Will owners of the PC get unlimited gems in the mobile version? Any info on plans for this George or Mat? Also how might the PC sprint effect the Mobile? I assume it will be like the mobile sprint that small things will filter over or can we expect more features to filter over? I really hope you have started to plan this already and not something that will be looked at with the PC sprint as I believe that would be a very bad idea.
If anyone ideas feel free to put them out, just in case they have not started thinking about it.

I think they decided not to go with that option of playing the same game on PC and mobile a long time ago.

Correct? I don't think that's accurate for all aspects of the game any more - certainly not for Homeworld, which I'm pretty sure will remain distinct in perpetuity, with the PC sprint addressing PC Homeworld balance issues, as well as a number of other things. It's an ambition we have for Hubworld, but even then it might not be cross-platform combatible between PC and mobile devices at launch. So in layman's terms, Homeworld on PC will continue to play differently from Homeworld on mobile and those differences are going to be amplified as part of the PC sprint later this year. /insert comment here about iterative design and how plans can change etc.
