From what I've heard (I didn't play it outside of beta because of the subscription but a few friends did) its not too horrible of a game.
However it is first and foremost an MMORPG. With the limitations of an MMORPG.
Which means that by that very definition, it isn't an Elder Scrolls RPG at all.
It attempts to be and does an admirable job within its confines, but it is NOT a proper TES game.

I meant to mention this last week. I have a new game to look forward to in 2015 An all new King's Quest! Apparently Sierra has risen from the dead - via Activision - and is bringing back some of it's classic titles, along with a focus on indie game development. This is potentially awesome news for Point-&-Click game lovers (like me). So excite, much feels. |

I meant to mention this last week. I have a new game to look forward to in 2015 An all new King's Quest! Apparently Sierra has risen from the dead - via Activision - and is bringing back some of it's classic titles, along with a focus on indie game development. This is potentially awesome news for Point-&-Click game lovers (like me). So excite, much feels. Also an awesome chance for much regret as they butcher the reputation of yet another classic title and studio - I recommend extreme caution before moving forward and triple-check anything they send you way. |

Heh. Yeah, those fears have been expressed by the fans. If they screw it up it'll just be a short lived resurrection. |
