I am ashamed to say I actually have no titles I'm looking forward to. I'm quite out of the game so to speak. However, I could try a make believe list of some titles that may perhaps someday exist. 1. Portal 3 2. Age of Empires 4 3. Godus 2: The remake 4. Sim City 6: Sorry for the mistake 5. Populous Continues

As much as I love old games from the '90s, I don't think I've ever loved a game series as hard as I do with Portal. (Well, maybe BioShock as well. Or Mass Effect... and potentially Assassin's Creed too.) What am I talking about?!?! I LOVE MA PORTALLLLL!!!

Only game I'm really looking forward to is the new Uncharted game, haven't really seen anything else that floats my boat. Maybe Hyrule Warriors, but eh.

1. Godus, The "Zen-like and Delicious Omega" Release. (duh) 2. Destiny. (so yummy, the beta was a blast) 3. No Man's Sky. (I'm cautious about the potentially homogenized nature of procedurally generated games, but excited nonetheless for "Multiplayer Starfox", haha.) 4. Sim City 6: ("Sorry for the lies and general idiocy our user-base and industry professionals saw right through and called us out on. Here's a real game!") 5. Diablo 3 Ladder Seasons.

Would it be too much to look forward to a Dungeon Keeper 3? Nothing I've played so far that calls itself a spiritual successor is anything like the series.

Hated Dungeons, although I was flush with the hope that it would be a spiritual successor to DK and it being nothing at all like it discoloured my opinion. Tried War for the Overworld and found it very, very lacking.

And I find War for the Overworld very promising yet lacking in humor and very unoptimized.
Still, from what I see in Dungeons 2 teaser, they seem to be trying to get it more like DK that the previous one.
Anyway, we don't know now, so we'll see.

1. Star Citizen 2. Pillars of Eternety 3. Wasteland 2 4. Stonehearth 5. Train Fever 6. Elite Dangerous 7. Sui Generis 8. Ultima Online Open Source Train Fever has my interest now, thanks. I'm a big fan of the Railroad Tycoon series. Sid Meier's Railroads was a let down though. I hope this game will prove to be more than just a sandbox simulator and offer a real challenge. It's been a long time since Railroad Tycoon 3, I hope this will be a big improvement upon the genre. Particularly interested by this... People look for workplaces. The more workplaces they can reach within a limited traveling time, the more attractive is their living address. More attractive means a higher land price, leading to higher urban density and growth. Therefore you can greatly influence urban development. Build a new bus line into an unconnected quarter, the quarter will grow! Build a railway connection to a neighbor city, both cities may grow!

But as you said, Railroads was a let down.
Train Fever looks promising. I follow them since their crowd funding and i hope they will keep on development when the game is released. If it's a good game i would pay for any addon. Best is it will be released soon.

Let's ahve a look on Dungeons 2 when it comes out. They promised to go back to the hand. Have you seen War for the Overworld? It comes really close to doing it if you ask me. Anywho - my top 5 currently: 1 - Torment: Tides of Numenera and Pillars of Eternity - a shared first place and I can't at this point in time pick one over the other. 2 - The next Elder Scrolls title that isn't an MMO butchering of the series. 3 - The next Fallout title. 4 - Universim 5 - Star Citizen There are numerous other titles that I do look forward to. Some released or about to release (like the new Civilization game), others currently in Early Access or similar (Wasteland 2, Stonehearth etc) and others may not even be spoken of as in development just yet. But since I had to list 5, this is my list.

I play WFTO from time to time. It is very unoptimized and runs badly on my computer eve on fastest preferences. Well, I still may be upgrading my CPU soon.
