Well that doesn't sound constructive. But it hardly seems worthy of a ban. Seems like a random remark to me. I guess they took it as criticism about their moderation.

It would kind of depend on the other comments referenced. I can see that being snarky and border line at best. That being said I could see it something I would say right about now. /8->

Aron, how many times have I warned you? I didn't know what else to do, you never seem to take me seriously! It's only a one day ban and I really didn't want to have to do it. That comment ni isolation isn't a bannable offence, but on top of all your other comments and the repeated warnings we've given it crossed the line.
I made this explicit in the comments of the ban you received - PLEASE up your game. You don't see Splitterwind or Angry being snarky, just critical in a constructive way. I would LOVE it if you followed their example.

It is an interesting point though. While the comment was clearly not productive the thread does seam to be discussion of IOS issues, which do seem out of place on a steam forum. Am I allowed to agree with both sides? Or does that count as sitting on the fence?

A much better approach would be to redirect any and all IOS related questions to the right subforum on 22cans.com
Mods in this case are not doing the right thing by essentially discussing off-topic in the steam (PC!!) forums

Hopefully that pleases everyone.

Hopefully that pleases everyone. This is a bit off topic, but I've been wondering about this for a bit: I'm a mod for a steam forum and I want to create a subforum for off topic and such. The problem is I can't find the button to add one. Am I blind or do I need special Dev permissions? Also, is there a way to clear the reported posts from the list? Again, I wouldn't be asking you here but I opened a steam support ticket and a week and a half later got a "steam support is for real problems, go away" response. (IMO, steam support is a useless application. I have NEVER gotten a proper response for game or client support). Asking another mod; who I only found because he jumped in to post a ban on a poster while I was sleeping (which irked me a bit, but whatever), netted me an ignored question and even more frustration. Back on topic: I think your opening of a sub forum is a good idea, and you handled it well. Although how many mobile users who DIDN'T hear of the mobile version through the PC version will really think to look at steam for answers? Still, It's like a condom: better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
