I'm wondering, for those people who have had to sign non disclosure agreements, how long do those agreements last? I know that the high level backers who paid like 5000 pounds each when they pledged for godus have had to sign an NDA. Yet despite their considerable support they are not allowed to talk about the project. At the same time anyone who downloads godus for free on their mobile device is allowed to say anything they would want about it. This doesn't seem fair at all. I would like to know what the big investors have to say about how they feel about what's been going on with the project.

Their are 2 key things with the 22Can's NDA's:
1: it's questionable whether they would be enforceable in the UK as making people sign a NDA in order that they can receive the goods they have already paid for when it wasn't mentioned at the point of sale would be considered under duress. 2: 22Can's would need to prove the disclosure caused financial damage to them in order to sue. This would be difficult as so far 22Can's have not produced must of commercial value.

And even if they had produced anything of commercial value, how would they prove that a loss of profit was due to someone violating an NDA?

Did they sign it freely - or because otherwise they wouldn't have received anything? If later, I doubt it holds...

It would be great to hear more about this from either 22Cans or from the high level backers, if their NDA would even allow that of course.

Yeah but I believe the high level backers did have to sign one.
