Have a look at this I turned out to be a knight Apparently I'm the Court Jester. "You are very energetic and funny, you love to make other people laugh and feel goofy. You entertain people at a very dark, medieval time, and for that they are grateful. Your heart leads your life, and you just enjoy the ride. 'Tis most splendid!"

Lets take out of the equation that 90 % of all common folk were mere peasants so the odds of us really being the resulting profession are slim at least ... But I think the quiz was rather well made

Not just peasants. Serfs. Slaves with personal tools.
But I'm not sure about the quiz.

Court Jester. I must admit that after a few drinks I am prone to a bit of tumbling.

I've not been posting much lately. It may have something to do with the fact that I picked up and installed my copy of Civilization IV a little while ago. Been playing almost non stop. I guess being unemployed has its benefits. I'm betting there's a lot of people here who also enjoy playing a game of Civ. I just stumbled upon a blog post about whether or not it's a good idea to move your settler at the start of the game. I found it an interesting read. So the question is... Do you move your settler at the start of a Civ game? To answer it myself... If my starting position looks favourable with plenty of food, some hills and some forests and possibly some special resources then I would found my city right away. However if I see a better location available within one or two moves then I would probably go for that. I almost never use my settler to go on walkabout to find a sweet spot and if I do I would probably start over with a new game if I wouldn't find one soon.

I just took that quiz and I know Ba'al will get a kick out of this. I am The Royal Offspring.
You were born to rule! You may be a bit spoiled at times, but your parents raised you well. You know how and where to help people, lead them and guide them at harsh times. Leadership is in your (blue) blood and compassion is in your heart.
Okay, for Civ 4, I try to found a city within two turns regardless. I proceed to make a another settler and then send him out while I work on my city and I try to build as many as I can while staying in the black. I have a single player going on right now. It is 1878 AD and I am kicking all the AIs butts. I have over 4000 in points and the closest to me has under two grand. I am gearing up for when they start to attack me because this is my weak spot in the game. Someday I hope to be able to play with Ba'al again.
