On a scale of 0 to 10, how would you rate the audio for this version?

audio glitches in the dev commentary driving me nuts. Have played the bubbles tune for ten notes - sick of it already. General ambiance is fine! Follower language to repetitive, but I can live with it for now.

I am annoyed by the overall childish soundscape, particularly by the tunes that play in the voyages. There are still good quality sounds in the game though.

I'm going to be harsh here - I rated audio at 0. While at first some of the audio is endearing and some of the sounds are functional and sufficient. I quickly get to the point where the audio starts to bother me.
The sounds the Astari make are utterly annoying. The storm sounds are too loud and do not serve a major purpose - the fact that the storms and as randomly and suddenly as they begin is no help. The 'helpum', 'destroyum' and other 'whateverum' sounds aren't adding to the game and are also part of what drives me to turn sound off in my game.
All in all, most of the sounds in the game get tedious and annoying very quickly and that all results in me turning off sound entirely.

Yeah I do tend to play with the sound off, when I play. But I think the ambient sounds are quite nice.

I rated it a 2. It is OK, but I tend to play games with the audio down anyway. I like the birds for the bit I listened and the music of collecting belief if nice but nothing special. It is not like I can build enough houses in an area to get a good tune going for any amount of time while collecting.

The Voyages tune is abysmal. It's a sleep inducing lullaby that irritates me to no end. And they keep putting it in videos as background music too. #fail

I agree with most, if not all the sentiments said here; at first the sounds are a little endearing and interesting, but quickly become an annoying distraction. I've experienced commentary skipping like a poorly buffered video, as well as few cracks and pops jn the audio. The Voyage music is too much like a lullaby, which is likely done to purposely envoke a trance-like state to calm the effect of how maddeningly rage inducing they can be. Storms are still far too loud - which has been an issue since thier inception - and cause the player to either turn the volume down, remove thier headset/earphones, or turn off the sound effects completely; none of which a game designer wants (especially the sound designers).
And to top it all off, most mobile players won't play with the sound on anyhow, especially if they're playing in a public place... tho those thst do probably enjoy tbe more cutesy and charming sounds. But overall, all that creative sound is sort of waisted on a majority of mobile players; desktops and cconsoles is where sound needs to shine.
This is why they need to either; 1. Rethink and redo much of the sounds, and/or 2. Provide more sound options and volume sliders

Can we have a negative value? 0 does not truly capture my point. I was forced to turn sound on for the sneezing/drivel sorry I mean the high quality developer comment, having done so I need a negatie score to truly capture my lack of delight for all things sound here - only offset equalled by the funky shadows which are their visual equivalent, for this old timer at least.

I've gone for a 6, now maybe that is because I play Godus in 5min slots, 4 or 5 times a day, which in itself is insane, but the Astari music, and some of the home world music is quite therapeutic. But yes, the voyages music is terrible.
