Interesting, but what is the objective there?
Music has a bit of a Men In Black feel to it.

You can play certain scenarios or work up towards a WIP Ending, theyre working on implementing multiplayer, building colonies, and additional vehicles and goodness.

Playing this for several weeks now. It has that nostalgic RailroadTycoon or TransportTyccon feel..
Can't wait for the co-op

Interesting, but what is the objective there Right now, the 'official' objective is to finalize the tech tree - the 'end-game' tech right now is rocket defense. Effectively you're getting the planet ready for large scale colonization (or invasion, depending on your perspective). But that objective really just acts like a vague goal. Imagine the goal in Minecraft, most people don't go at it to kill the Ender Dragon. Anywho, the actual meat of the game sits in finding various ways to reach that end. Taking advantage of all kinds of automation and resource acquisition/processing to set up lines for research and various production. Depending on your interests you can even use robots and blueprints to automatically build entire bases for you and expand that way. Or take a more hands-on approach and do things part manually. The developers have mentioned that they want to bring more depth and story into the game eventually and that the 'rocket defense' is merely a placeholder goal while they get the infrastructure in place. If you like Minecraft's tech mods or other games that function with factorization or automation, Factorio is definitely worth a try.
