Nice try, Aron. Sock puppetry is possibly the lowest form of forum behaviour. @fraud your account was booted by the server for pro boards because of your handle. For the record, not one single thread got deleted. George deleted his own post and I deleted only the quotes from said post at his request. Also, imo, sock puppetry is truly a form of cowardice to any that choose to do it. dont know exactly what booted means i was not able to reactive my old account but now i have him back the fraud acc. is already deleted and i didnt meant deletet on this Forums i meant on steam i checked today on steam on which threads i wrote but somehow there where several threads not available cause they got deletet

Be under no illusion, none of us wanted to operate in virtual silence while we developed the Settlements revamp and its various other features. Before that happened, we'd increased the volume and transparency of our updates on the blog and since the release of the update, we've returned to that state of affairs, what with the recent Balance File Modding Tool update.
You can rest assured that I will always do my best to share what we're working on as early and in as much detail as I possibly can via the 22cans blog. Additionally, if updates get delayed then I will share that as quickly as possible too. There's not much else I can do to be more open-hearted.
As for not de-railing the thread, that's exactly what you *did* do - the OP has started up another thread to discuss the reasons behind the silence prior to the worldwide release of Godus on iOS and you immeditaely turned it into a discussion about how the mod team were trying to silence all criticism by deleting the post that linked to this forum in the previous thread!
Anyway, this was hardly an isolated incident - you'd been on the receiving end of multiple warnings and even a 24 hour ban, I'd have expected you to act a bit more appropriately tbh.

The account handle name was not viable. I swear I had nothing to do with fraud being gone. Ba'al was at work all day so the pro-boards server did it. I can only assume they have certain restrictions to prevent spammers and so the word "fraud" as a handle will not work. As you can see, we did not block or ban you, when you deleted your account, you did just that, poof............ no more account. As to Steam, I can't speak for them. I don't really post on there and only read the boards there when someone puts up a link.

Yeah, that's all fairly petty and childish on Aron's part. More than justified in your actions, George. what is childish if i answer on a post in steam and took a Quote from this forums that didnt got deleted and please nobody should Forget that we are paing customer maybe for some 20€ is nothing but for me ist very much!! and said things should be said and it doesnt matter the consequences and Gk you Sound to much melodramatic you are right you have gained trust but as a normal Person instead as a Cm from 22cans you said at the beginning from your 22cans journey you will Change things you will do the things different then before, open hearted but it got even worse cause of the Actions from you and mathew 22cans lost all credibility only one Thing to mention : Matthew Allen [Entwickler] 1. Aug. um 19:50 Uhr Kickstarter cash from December funded the first 10 months of game development where it was then, as we all know, released on Early Access in September. Also, half a million wouldn't really sustain 22 people on three years of development. 22 cans be lucky that the Kickstarter Terms got changed with the old rules there were not able to make an mobile game with monetizing Yes, just that. Posting on Steam and taking a quote from this forum, void of all the context that originated the quote, is petty and childish, especially considering the nature of that context and George's stated reservations. There's actually a term for it - "quote mining".

Maybe serving a ban would actually be beneficial, early this year I was in almost as bad place as you (no where near as bad as tigermorte with the game and team and realised that harbouring that amount of hatred for something so unimportant was a cancer on my time and utility.
While the official communication has been poor throughout the project, I would have to say George and Matt + the devs who post here have impressed me no end. They have 2 official forums which afford them great protection but yet chose to engage us here (which to me is the new official forum anyway!)

...Sock puppetry is possibly the lowest form of forum behaviour. .... Also, imo, sock puppetry is truly a form of cowardice to any that choose to do it. Agree. If you are not willing to say it with your own lips, keep the mouth shut (or fingers off the keyboard as the case may be). Decisions v Consequences, all that.

I find it very hard to decipher your posts, Aron.
Still, this forum is a small group of long time community members. Sure, anyone can come here but they don't. The VAST majority of the PC community stick to the steam forums. I've told other people that the Proboards community is one of the best we have. You guys aren't happy but you're collected, thoughtful and largely extremely polite about it. For what it's worth I've been impressed and endeared to you all and I think the same is true for George, Fabs, Matt and all the rest of us. We come here and try to give you all the real skinny as best we can knowing that it's not always the idesl image we'd like to project but that things don't always go the way we want them to.
We can't stop you from hurting us by taking these more candid views out to places, throwing them in to the wolfs den in a completely out of context fashion where we'll get further crucified. You can do that, sure. It's your right as freedom of speech, in my opinion. But your actions have consequences.

snap... Was just being funny. feanix, we are small but we do average over a 1200 views a day. People are on Steam, myself included, because that was the only platform you could get the game from. Most people don't care to have multiple forums so no matter how cool and nifty we are, *pats own back*, they won't join. They do seem to enjoy lurking here quite a bit and as I said before, all are welcome. Ba'al made an offline board so that people can do just that a few days ago and it is showing some signs of traffic. We have over 150 members and on most days around 30 members are active each day. Not too shabby for our little community.

Yeaaah we are totally the best. *pats self on back*. Totally off-topic and interesting tid-bit, but did you know that according to the list of members (and with thanks to the offline mode), it looks like Monkeythumbz has made a fantastic 469 posts in only 5 minutes of being online in total? That's a whooping 93.8 posts per minute. Or if we assume each post is on average three sentences each of 10 words, each word of which is 5 letters long on average, then we are looking at a typing speed of... *does calculation*... "hella" characters per second (actually 234.5 characters per second if you wanted the number!)
