This weekend it is happening again. The 30th Ludum Dare
What is Ludum Dare?
Ludum Dare (or LD) is a Game Jam weekend. There are 2 seperate competitions running, one is a 48hour solo game making challenge, the other is a 72 hour team challenge. Your game must be in the theme that is voted by the community.
The 48 hour challenge.
This is the main event (for me). The idea is that you create a game from scratch in 48 hours, you will have to do everything yourself. That includes coding, art, sound and whatever else you come up with
